Description:
CASE Studio is a professional and intuitive database designing and management tool using well-arranged ER-diagrams, through which complex SQL-scripts for physical creation of tables for various databases (Oracle,DB2,MS SQL,Interbase,MySQL,Sybase, Ingres,Informix, and more) can be generated. Data flows between tables can also be easily described by creating appropriate Data flow diagrams. When creating ERD the program considers individual database options such as referential integrity, constraints, domains, triggers, etc. CASE Studio provides a gallery for saving and storing most frequently used parts of models or a dictionary with predefined user data types.
Features are: Reverse engineering, version manager, creation of HTML and RTF-reports, comparing ER-diagrams, conversion of ER-diagrams into other databases, pattern editor for triggers, views, stored procedures, support of JScript and VBScript for own templates creation, TLB, export of diagrams into graphic files and many more...
Latest 2.6 version supports the DB2 database. For the first time there is a newly implemented universal access for loading structures via templates for the DB2 reverse engineering, that uses newly implemented COM interface. Also the reverse engineering for the Oracle has been improved and connection to the server can be done via TCP/IP without client. Among other improvement are: implementation of additional templates with suffix ta2 (e.g. for the PostgreSQL), new button OK+Add in editors, opening of entity and submodel editors directly from tree view, option of selecting the frequently used databases, saving paths for generating reports directly to models, checkbox for generating relationships, assuming layout from existing models, logical HTML entity relationship report.
