Description:
The DOS SUBST (substitute) command associates a path with a drive letter, it is a very powerful command, Virtual Drive Creator performs this command from within Windows. Enter a Letter in the [Virtual Drive Letter] text box, which sends the control to the [Full Path:] text box, from there you can type the full path or you can browse to the path via the Drive and Folder Lists. Click OK to create the virtual drive. To remove a virtual drive, enter the Drive Letter in the [Virtual Drive Letter] text box and Click the [Remove Virtual Drive] button. (Note: virtual drives are discarded when you reboot your computer.)
